The highest accessible bar in Saigon. Floor-to-ceiling glass on the helipad floor means unobstructed 360° views. The drinks are average for the price but the elevation makes up for it. Best experienced on a clear weeknight — weekends are crowded and the bar service slows noticeably.

The Summit Rooftop — Caravelle Hotel, 19–23 Công Trường Lam Sơn, Floor 9, District 1
The most historic option: the Caravelle has been the journalist hotel since the Vietnam War. Floor 9 is modest by Saigon rooftop standards — not the highest — but it overlooks the Opera House and has a quiet, colonial-era atmosphere that the glass tower bars lack. Less crowded, more comfortable.

Practical notes
Wet season (May–October): sudden downpours can close outdoor seating with little warning. Arrive early and sit near indoor cover. Most bars have a rain plan.
